JACMS has been working on tests to improve container damage checks at container terminals under contract with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The results were compiled in "Reference Material for Introduction of Container Damage Check System" and published by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
The introduction of a container damage check system based on this material is expected to contribute to the improvement of productivity and the working environment at container terminals at ports and harbors in Japan.
