What is DX (Digital Transformation)?

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry defines DX as "the transformation of products, services and business models based on the needs of consumers and society, and the transformation of operations, corporate structure, business processes and corporate culture to establish a competitive advantage through the use of data and digital technologies in response to rapid changes in the business environment.” The introduction of digital tools in an organization does not constitute DX. Data and digital technologies are considered a "means" for transformation.

DX is an abbreviation for Digital Transformation. The idea is to use advanced digital technologies to transform not only business, but people's lives for the better.
