  International Cargo-handling Seminar held by the Institute of Logistics Strategy on September 17

  Peter Van-Duyn, Deputy Chairman of ICHCA (International Cargo Handling Coordination Association) Australia, gave a lecture on "Update on automation in container handling"

 The lecture provided the advanced initiatives being undertaken in Australia , including an overview of the automated Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) in the Port of Melbourne and Patrick Terminal in the Port of Sydney and DP World Port Botany Rail Project will contribute to the improvement of transport efficiency and carbon emissions reduction.

 Many questions were asked by the participants, indicating their high level of interest.

 Next time, we will introduce a lecture by Andrew Adam, former CEO of DP World Australia.
